FACT: Anthony Heffernan was alone in his hotel room on the 16th day of March 2015. On that day, 5 Calgary Cops attended his hotel room on a wellness check. The 5 Cops were A/Sgt Brewster, and Constables Shergill-Brauer-Johns and McCloughlin. Heffernan was subsequently shot dead by Cst McCloughlin.

FACT: Cst McCloughlin fired 6 shots from his Glock 40. One of those bullets went into Heffernans chest (upper torso), one went into his neck, two into his head, one went into the wall and one went through the top right hand corner of the hotel window. Heffernan was also tasered at least 3 times. To say on that day, the wild wild wild wild west came to Calgary, is a massive understatement.

FACT: The Alberta Independent Serious Response Team (ASIRT) in it’s 22nd August 2016 investigation report, stated ” It is not possible to determine the exact order in which the wounds were suffered ” much more to follow up on this statement.

FACT: A Public Fatality Inquiry into Heffernan’s Homicide is still a long long way off, as the authorities have these matters status as ” Pending Resolution of Investigations and Criminal Matters “.

FACT: Today marks 10th year 6 month anniversary of Heffernan’s Homicide.
